![]() Comment utiliser Office 2013 suites et programmes (déploiement MSI) sur un ordinateur qui exécute une autre version de Microsoft Office. That may be a smart move to get ODF spec on the same level as OOXML as there would be even less reason to use OOXML in the future. L’installation d’Office à l’aide de Démarrer en un clic et de Windows Installer sur le même ordinateur n’est pas prise en charge. So I guess interop between recent MS Office versions and LO should be better when using ODF.Įdit: From what I see that has been added to LO recently for interop with MS Office formats this is then also added at the same time to the "ODF 1.3 Extended" spec which will be used to drive the ODF 1.4 spec (no timefrime etc yet). Currenly LO and MS both have implemented most of the ODF 1.3 specs already while OO still uses 1.2. Then also LO (so nor does OO) did not fully implement ODF 1.2. ![]() I have 2 other laptops with the exact same setup Windows 10 Pro/Office 2007 working perfectly fine, along with various old versions of Visual Studio. Before you do that go into Windows updates and disable updates for other microsoft products. I have tried My Computer and cannot found ADD new Programs as an option. Also tried the setup.exe direction from the thumb drive or copy. FWIW Ive done several Office 2007 installs in Windows 10 without having this problem. Then highlight and copy that key, click that 2 x 2' box and do a paste into it. I have tried this multiple times with different thumb drives. I have no idea why that window is so small, but try this. Microsoft has been working actively on those specs amongst with TDF. I have Windows 10 Professional 64bit on a Lenovo laptop on which I need to run Office 2007 Professional - and not anything else, for compatibility purposes. I am setting up my new PC and want to install Microsoft Office from a CD. Step 1: Gather Your Product Key Before you begin, ensure you have a valid product key for Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007. However, I do not have a CD drive on the laptop and have read on various articles to copy the Office 2003 CD to a thumb drive, insert the thumb drive, go to Explore, and on setup.exe right mouse and Run As Administrator. This has been mostly fixed in the ODF 1.3 spec as that was one of the main goals defining it. That is not the whole story ODF 1.2 does have some specifications which leave room for interpretation and for that reason are implemented differently (that may have been done on purpose) in MS Office vs OpenOffice/LibreOffice. Even if Office XP works on modern Windows (doubtful), the software is very out of date and a considerable security concern. Clyde asks if Office XP ‘be safe to use’ and that’s the important point. ![]() I have an ancient Microsoft Office version (2007), original installation disk and Product Key, that I would like to install onto my new machine. odt, but MS, as always, has departed from the international standards" It might be possible to use Office XP on Windows 10 or 11 but it’s not a good idea. My old laptop died and I bought a new Windows 11 machine. ![]()
